Job Purpose:

Working with the Development and Inclusion Lead you will play a vital role within the Talent & Development Team providing innovative solutions and commercially driven support and solutions across the business.  This role will also involve working as part of the wider People Team including HR and recruitment to help, support and deliver the numerous projects in the pipeline.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Some of the core duties within the department include but are not limited to:

  • To work with the Development and Inclusion Lead to design and deliver the T&D, CSR and D&I strategy, assessing priorities and setting out future plans
  • A focus on developing, implementing and co-ordinating all CSR, D&I and talent development programmes including the company’s CSR, D&I, talent programmes and internal professional and business skills development programmes
  • Assist with the development of a strategy to engage and promote all of the programmes both internally and externally
  • Develop career pathways to ensure career options are clear and transparent
  • Design, build and facilitate talent development programmes to enable our employees to progress their careers
  • Work with managers and employees to provide coaching and advice when necessary whilst driving best practice across the organisation that ensures compliance with the organisations policies, procedures and values
  • Deliver in-house training where relevant
  • Produce reports and presentations to showcase the work that is being done in all aspects of T&D, CSR and D&I and also conduct analysis of themes and trends

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience of working within a Talent & Development Team at an advisor level
  • Experience of or some Involvement in CSR and inclusion initiatives
  • Experience of liaising with apprentice providers and providing support to apprentices
  • Experience in presentation design, social media and drafting documents
  • Confident to present to audiences and drive forward all development, CSR and Inclusion initiatives
  • Commercial acumen and ability to partner business and deliver commercially focused ideas and solutions
  • Confident in communicating and in building credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • A team player with a flexible approach and working style

Desirables:

  • Previous experience within a legal or insurance environment
