Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator

Job Purpose:
The role holder will be responsible for delivering a professional, fast paced recruitment and talent
on boarding process to the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be a first point of contact for hiring managers, recruitment agencies and candidates
- Shortlist suitable candidates and make recommendations to recruiting managers
- Ensure all spreadsheets/trackers and systems are up to date and accurate and that all
candidate information is processed in line within the data protection regulations - End to end on boarding of all new starters including Right to Work checks, DBS and
referencing in line with regulation - Responsible for ensuring the new joiner has everything they need for their first week.
- Build relationships and work closely with hiring managers and recruitment agencies
- Schedule high volume interviews and assessment centres
- Assist with interviews where necessary
- Work with hiring managers to develop a suitable recruitment process for their needs with
an accurate job description and shortlisting criteria - Ascertain requirements of hiring managers, taking time to understand the needs of the
department and wider business - Ensure the recruitment process is consistent and fairly applied to all applicants
- Ensure candidate feedback is delivered internally and externally in a timely manner
- Deliver a high level candidate experience and professionalism throughout the process
- Create, manage and post job advertisements on various platforms
- Attend events where necessary
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead with any project work required
Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous experience working in a fast paced Recruitment environment with a sound
knowledge of the full recruitment cycle - On boarding experience, dealing with DBS, Right to Work and referencing
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to adapt to consistently changing world of recruitment, learning new processes and
keep up to date with current legislation as required - Be prepared to learn how to use social media to recruit effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS office experience and confident using Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent time management
- Ability to use own initiative
