Darren joined Carpenters Group in 2024 with 30 years’ experience in the insurance and legal sector and brings with him a wealth of knowledge from a variety of leadership roles.
Well known for his unrelenting passion for operational excellence, Darren believes in a “people first” approach that underpins his vision and values in business. Recognised as Business Leader of the Year in 2022 at the BSLA’s and recipient of an award from HRH the Princess Royal the year before as well.
Outside of work Darren enjoys spending time with his family and taking his two boys, 4 and 8 to everything that is football - games, practices and football parties! He says it may sound like a bane but he absolutely loves it! Darren also likes to spend time in the garden, socialising with friends and spends every spring in the gym trying to get fit again in time for summer.
