Donna Scully wins Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award!

The Modern Claims Awards took place on 27^th April 2023 at The Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.

During the Awards Carpenters Group Director, Donna Scully, was awarded the Outstanding Achievement of the Year Award on the evening.

Donna Richards, CEO of Carpenters Group said:
"All businesses need not only a heart but also a strong backbone, someone who has a passion both for their people and the industry they are part of. Being able to fight for justice, but also provide a balanced collaborative approach is not an easy thing to do, but Donna is able span that bridge and have the respect of all sides. She is certainly the heart of Carpenters Group!
Donna has the ability to bring a mix of people together and make magic happen, using her skills and profile to great use, highlighting causes, organisations and groups across society in need. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and get stuck in.
If you need support, Donna is always there, be it as a sounding board, having your back or as a friend, and I for one are proud to call her friend."

John Carpenter, Chairman of Carpenters Group said:
“Donna is an amazing human being. She possesses remarkable business acumen which she uses in her never-ending fight for Justice and fairness for the innocent victims of accidents . She believes that working with all parties constructively will eventually achieve a better industry for all .

 Donna’s charitable work is well known and close to her heart . She provides much needed financial support and gives her love and energy to support vulnerable groups including getting up at 6.30am on Sundays to help other volunteers provide breakfasts to homeless people.”

Donna Scully had this to say:
“It's not often an Irish women is rendered speechless but I was. By the words from John, Donna & Hannah, by where it was happening & then playing You'll Never Walk Alone too!

To be recognised by my peers was humbling. To be amongst so many great people was amazing & to get it not just for my work fighting fraud, fighting for justice but my community work too, just lovely. 

To receive the award with Fans Supporting Foodbanks there too was the icing on the cake”.

Carpenters Group proudly sponsored the Diversity & Inclusion Award on the evening.

During the event, our “donate your old boots” campaign was in place. Everyone attending the Awards was asked to bring along any old boots they had "kicking about" to donate to Fans Supporting Foodbanks and LFC Foundation. Carpenters Group also sponsored a table with Charlton Grant for FSF so that their volunteers & founders could attend and join in with the fantastic evening.
