National Apprenticeship Week, meet Thomas

National Apprenticeship Week 2022 takes place this week, from 7-13 February 2022. It brings together everyone passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate the value, benefit, and opportunity that apprenticeships bring.

This week we have asked some of our apprentices to talk about their apprenticeship journeys and future career plans and aspirations...

Thomas Dunne – CILEx Paralegal Level 3

"From my experience on the level 3 paralegal apprenticeship, I believe this is a great starting point for anyone looking to pursue a career in the legal industry.

The combination of working whilst learning allows you to apply your knowledge because you better understand the law and your role within the business.

The apprenticeship helped me in my role as a litigator as it gave me the tools and information required for me to excel at Carpenters Group.

I enjoyed the fact that you can learn new things and how the law is constantly changing and evolving. Whilst this is the first step for me academically, I hope one to day to be a fully-fledged lawyer as that is my end goal."
