John Carpenter, Chair

Founder and Chair of Carpenters Group, John Carpenter was born and raised in Merseyside. Formerly an Equity Partner at a leading law firm with offices in Liverpool and London, John specialised in corporate and employment law before establishing Carpenters in 1994 as a niche commercial practice.

Donna Scully, Owner/Director

Joint Owner and Director of Carpenters Group, Donna Scully is a recognised figure in the insurance sector. Based in Liverpool and proud of her Irish heritage, Donna is a qualified lawyer, mentor and accomplished public speaker. She works closely with the Ministry of Justice on motor claims and civil justice reform.

Chief Executive Officer of Carpenters Group, Donna Richards leads the Board of Directors and is responsible for the strategic growth, diversification, and operational management of the Group. With over 30 years’ experience advising the legal sector on strategic and financial matters, Donna previously served as Carpenters’ Chief Financial Officer.
