Ann Allister Appointed Secretary to UKABIF North-West & North Wales
08 April 2025
Carpenters Group is proud to announce that Ann Allister, Solicitor, has been appointed as the Secretary to the UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) for the North-west and North Wales region.
Ann is delighted to support UKABIF's vital work in raising awareness of acquired brain injury (ABI) and advocating for early access to specialist neuro-rehabilitation services. She has previously participated in lobbying events at Parliament, demonstrating her commitment to the cause.
By accepting this role, which is taken on in addition to a busy caseload, Ann aims to rejuvenate the North-West region's activities, which were highly attended pre-COVID. The plan includes hosting three virtual events and one in-person event annually.
Carpenters Group supports UKABIF's efforts as they align closely with the firm’s commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by brain injuries through advocacy, education, and community support.
