This year at BIBA, Carpenters Group made a significant impact
BIBA 2025 is the pinnacle event in the insurance calendar, attracting both major and minor brokers. Carpenters Group, a proud BIBA member for many years, has been a consistent presence at the conference. Traditionally located at stand F24, this year we upgraded to a much larger stand at F48.
The additional space at the new stand not only facilitated more networking opportunities but also allowed Carpenters staff to reconnect with old friends and colleagues. This enhanced presence emphasised our commitment to fostering strong relationships within the industry.
A highlight of this year's BIBA was the first-ever Women In Insurance Breakfast, sponsored by Carpenters Group. The event saw an impressive turnout, featuring Carpenters Owner/Director Donna Scully on a panel with other female leaders in the industry. Donna shared her thoughts and experiences of self-advocacy and empowerment, offering valuable insights to attendees.
Thursday was Young Broker’s Day, and Carpenters Group brought along 10 enthusiastic students from St Francis of Assisi to explore the dynamic world of insurance. These young minds were given a unique glimpse into the industry, sparking potential future careers. The students engaged in various activities and discussions, gaining a deeper understanding of the opportunities within the insurance sector.
In addition to the new stand and events, this year's BIBA conference boasted a star-studded guest list, including Anthony Joshua, Gareth Southgate, and Penny Mordaunt, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
