Carpenters Group CEO Donna Richards: A Positive Start to the Year Ahead

Yesterday, colleagues from every corner of Carpenters Group came together for a company-wide briefing led by our CEO, Donna Richards, alongside Chief Technology Officer, Karen Campbell. It was an energising session that celebrated how far we’ve come and set the tone for the year ahead.

Donna opened by shining a light on the standout moments of 2025: another year of strong growth, new client wins, and meaningful improvements across our processes and systems. Most importantly, she recognised the incredible contribution of colleagues right across the business, whose hard work and commitment have driven our success.

People development took centre stage, too. Donna highlighted the ongoing growth of our Legal Academy, the progress of our Future Leaders cohort, and the achievements of our long-serving colleagues, apprentices, and trainees. She also thanked our DE&I and Charity groups for the brilliant work they do in shaping our culture and strengthening our community impact.

Karen then shared an update on the leaps we’ve made in technology and innovation, from major investments and system upgrades to smoother workflows and enhanced security ensuring we’re better equipped than ever to support our people and clients.

Looking ahead, Donna and Karen outlined their shared priorities for 2026: building on our momentum, driving productivity, giving colleagues the tools and clarity they need to excel, and continuing to evolve our technology to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Donna closed the session with a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the part they’ve played in our progress. The message was clear and uplifting: we have solid foundations, exciting plans, and a shared commitment to making 2026 our best year yet for our colleagues, our clients, and our customers.
