Carpenters Group Sponsors First-of-its-Kind Charity Ball

12 June 2025
Recently, Carpenters Group proudly served as the headline sponsor for Headway Sefton’s inaugural black-tie event, the “Headway Sefton Ball.”

Held at the Royal Liver Suite on 6th May, the ball aimed to raise funds for Headway Sefton, a charity supporting individuals and families affected by brain injury.

The evening began with welcome drinks in the stunning reception area, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal and a luxury raffle. Fabulous prizes included two tickets to the Book of Mormon and artwork by David O’Brien, paying homage to Oasis’ Noel Gallagher.

A highlight of the night was a performance by the talented musician Stephen Bayliss, who charmed the audience and danced with them throughout his set. Guests also enjoyed the presence of broadcasting legend Roy Sheppard, who graciously served as the MC, offering his services free of charge as a donation to this meaningful cause.

A special moment was the premiere of the first-ever Headway Sefton fundraising appeal video, featuring our Head of Serious Injury, Carol Hopwood, along with other Headway volunteers and members.

The main takeaway of the night was the strong connection felt among all the guests, united by their dedication to this cause and their desire to raise funds for Headway Sefton. The sense of community and shared purpose was unmistakable, making the event not only a success but also a deeply moving experience for everyone involved.

The total amount raised is yet to be revealed, but every penny counts towards supporting this wonderful organisation and the invaluable work it does.
