Donna Scully wins ‘Metro Choice Award for Social Impact’ at Employer’s Excellence Awards 2024

We are incredibly proud to announce that Carpenters Group joint-owner and Director, Donna Scully, has won the ‘Metro Choice Award for Social Impact’ at Employer’s Excellence Awards 2024 in association with Metro!

Carpenters Group were also runners up in the ‘Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award’ based on our work in our local communities from grassroots causes to national charities.

The Employer’s Excellence Awards celebrates Britain’s best employers. The annual awards ceremony shines a light on people and organisations demonstrating best practice in the workplace as well as the outstanding achievements of the country’s business trailblazers.

The Metro Choice Award for Social Impact win was based on Donna’s commitment to generously give her time and unwavering support to make an impact via the causes close to her heart and that of Carpenters Group. Donna is currently a mentor via The Girls Network mentoring encouraging the growth of females working in the insurance sector. She volunteers every Sunday at her local breakfast club, which she co-founded with Fans Supporting Foodbanks. The breakfast club support homeless people and those struggling with the cost of living crisis and living in food poverty. She is a voice of support for many people in need and has partnered with Rainbow Trust, Football for Change, The Inclusive Hub, The Greenhouse Project, Shelter, Jan Fairclough Foundation, Cancer Research UK and many more in recent years.
