Insurance Times Backchat: Donna Scully

Our Director, Dancing Donna Scully, recently spoke to Insurance Times for their "Backchat" feature about her 'Irish dancing' at the Insurance Times Awards for charity.

She raised over £4,000 (some in cash) for her Sunday Breakfast Club for homeless & people struggling plus the Charles Thompson Mission charity where the breakfast takes place. 

Donna wants to thank everybody who donated & supported her despite her dancing being pretty ordinary!

"Dancing Donna made a return this year to Insurance Times flagship event, the IT Awards on 6 December 2023 with another dance off.

Donna Scully, director at Carpenters Group, took to the stage with a river dance to take on host for the evening, comedian Alex Horne alongside his band The Horne Section.

Scully raised over £4000 in total. 

She runs a Sunday Breakfast Club jointly with charity Fans Supporting Foodbanks, a joint initiative between Liverpool FC and Everton FC in Birkenhead, Wirral and has done so for six years, as “there is nothing in Birkenhead over the weekend for people struggling”."
