Carpenters Group Celebrates Pride by Supporting Sahir and Embracing Diversity
24 July 2025
We are thrilled to announce our participation in this year's Pride events in Liverpool on Saturday.
This event is not just a celebration but a powerful statement of our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and support for the LGBTQ+ community. We are proud to be supporting Sahir, an LGBTQ+ HIV charity based in Liverpool.
A Day of Celebration and Solidarity
The Pride event promises to be a magical and inclusive celebration, featuring a variety of activities designed to bring the community together. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
- Pre-March Rally at Pierhead: The day will kick off with a large outdoor rally at Pierhead, featuring speeches, storytelling, and moments of solidarity and joy. We expect a turnout of 10,000 to 25,000 people.
- Pride March: The march will take in the beautiful waterfront from Pierhead to the M&S Bank Arena, led by trans community members and LGBTQ+ individuals living with disabilities. This accessible march is also expected to draw 10,000 to 25,000 participants.
- Celebration at M&S Bank Arena: The arena will host a vibrant celebration with local singers, musicians, drag acts, DJs, and dancers. Additionally, there will be an indoor market with stalls, food, and beverages. Tickets are priced at approximately £5, with an expected attendance of 2,500 people.
- Access Pride Event: A dedicated, calm, neurodivergent-friendly, alcohol-free event will be held away from the main activities, featuring workshops and open mic performances. This event is expected to attract around 200 people.
- Young People and Families Zone: Hosted by National Museums Liverpool, this zone will offer activities for young people and families, ensuring a fun and inclusive environment for all ages.
- Pride Quarter Street Party: An alcohol-free street party in the Pride Quarter will showcase performers and talent from the local community, with an expected attendance of 3,000 people.
- Vigil of Remembrance: The day will conclude with a vigil to remember and honour those we have lost.

"At Carpenters Group, we proudly support and celebrate Pride because inclusion is at the heart of who we are. As someone with a rainbow family, I know personally how vital it is that everyone feels seen, valued, and supported - both in life and at work."
