Matched Giving - Well done to Chloe Hellon

We are proud to support our colleagues fundraising efforts with our Matched Giving initiative - a way of boosting the money you have fundraised.

Congratulations to our colleague Chloe Hellon who recently completed a 150ft charity abseil down Clatterbridge Hospital in Liverpool in support of the hospital itself. Chloe has raised an impressive £648 including a £250 Matched Giving fundraising boost from Carpenters Group.

Here, Chloe tells us more about her fundraising efforts:

“At the start of this year I wanted to do something totally out of my comfort zone and decided to sign up for a 150ft charity abseil down Clatterbridge Hospital in Liverpool in support of the hospital itself.

I decided to choose this charity as it’s one close to home. Clatterbridge (Wirral) cared for my Nan who unfortunately passed away from Bowel Cancer at an early age of 59. Not only that, my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had great support from the staff there. Thankfully, she is now 5+ years clear and was able to cheer me on while I made my way down. 

I wanted to raise money to fund families who are going through similar circumstances.

I’m really thankful that I was able to take part in this special day.”
