Matched Giving - Well done to Simon Baker

We are proud to support our colleagues fundraising efforts with our Matched Giving initiative - a way of boosting the money you have fundraised.

Congratulations to our colleague Simon Baker who recently completed a 6km sponsored walk around Aintree Racecourse on the 1st September to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. Simon has raised an impressive £545 including a £250 Matched Giving fundraising boost from Carpenters Group.

Here, Simon tells us more about his fundraising efforts:

"I have recently completed a sponsored 6km walk around Aintree racecourse on September the 1st in memory of my grandmother, who I lost to dementia 7 years ago. Me and my family feel that after seeing someone close to us go through this condition we see it different and believe it is a great charity, and the work they do for the family and the people with dementia and Alzheimer’s is fantastic."
